We are excited to be exhibiting at this year’s NHS Health and Care Innovation Expo on 11 and 12 September in Manchester. The Expo is one of the largest events in the UK dedicated to technology and innovation in health and social care and will attract over 5,000 delegates across the two days.
LumiraDx Health IT, part of the LumiraDx group, will be there to showcase their collaboration with the Health and Social Care Partnership and Greater Manchester Academic Health Science Network (GM AHSN) and their technical support of the DataWell digital infrastructure project. Built on the LumiraDx platform, DataWell is an innovative informatics platform, which enables health and social care data to be shared. Datawell helps remove data sharing barriers, accelerating improvements in health outcomes and cost effectiveness for Greater Manchester, East Cheshire and East Lancashire healthcare organisations.
‘We are delighted to be a part of the Expo this year and to be able to align our technology, innovation and expertise with the key themes of the event. The Expo gives us a fantastic opportunity to meet with key opinion leaders, directors, care leaders and innovators alike.’
Michael Nicholls, Head of Platform Development and Technical Operations at LumiraDx IT Health
We will attend the Expo alongside LumiraDx IT Health to present our new patient app, engage, which gives patients access to safer, more supported self-care options under the guidance of their care team.
engage is excitingly different to other healthcare apps because as well as recording health data input by the patient, it also keeps individuals digitally connected to their care team and includes interactive education to ensure patients have the knowledge, skills and confidence to feel more in control of their care. engage combines the best technology, education and clinical expertise to deliver a series of safe, self-care programmes – such as a self-testing for anticoagulation therapy with seamless connectivity to the patient record. engage is currently available to CCGs and practices that use INRstar as their clinical decision support software (CDSS).
